About The Event
The Veterans Business Council is dedicated to helping build a vibrant and prosperous business community for all Veterans and Veteran Owned-Businesses in Southwest Florida.
November's meeting will feature guest speaker Kena Yoke who will be giving a presentation on Creative Marketing Strategies.
Yoke has 36 years of experience in construction management, marketing and office administration, as well as a lifetime of networking and community support to her endeavors. She is the Vice President of Island Piling, Inc., Managing Partner of Island Piling Manufacturing, LLC and Owner of Kayaking In, Inc. She formerly founded and successfully exited a consulting firm.
Through her consulting firm Kena Yoke Consulting, Inc, she had the opportunity to work with entrepreneurs, startups and small businesses. Over the past few years, Yoke has focused most of her mentoring efforts to benefit veteran business owners. Her focus is on strengthening businesses through the development of solid relationships and direct community involvement. She stays connected to her community by mentoring and by being involved in community-based organizations like Justin's Place for Women and Alumni, St. Matthews House, Collier County Honor Flight, Freedom Waters Association and the Louisville Slugger Warriors.
