About the Event
This event will feature Florida House Representative Tiffany Esposito and Senator Jonathan Martin, who will provide an update on what is happening in Tallahassee. Thousands of bills filed during the last legislative session impacted various issues within our region. Join us to find out what bills were passed and how they affect Southwest Florida. Also, as we look ahead to next year’s legislative session, we can get a preview of some of the topics that will be addressed in 2025.

Speaker
Jonathan Martin is the Senator for District 33 of the Florida Senate, which encompasses the greater portion of Lee County. Senator Martin was elected to the Florida Senate in November 2022 as Chair of the Criminal Justice Committee.
Jonathan began his law career with the 20th Judicial Circuit's Office of the State Attorney, serving as a prosecutor with the 20th Circuit State Attorney's Office. He was promoted to the prosecutor for all of Glades County in 2009, where he handled every case for the county, from misdemeanors to murders. He left the SAO in 2014 for private practice and was elected Chairman of the Lee County Republican Party. Jonathan is a Partner at the Aloia Roland Law Firm, where he helps lead the Personal Injury & Wrongful Death department.
In his personal time, he enjoys traveling, boating, hunting, and spending time with his three beautiful children and his wife, Amy Martin.
