SWFL Inc. Proud to Support Southwest Florida’s Veteran Business Owners with New Veterans Business Council

By: Tiffany Esposito, MBA, CCE, IOM, APR, President & CEO, SWFL Inc.

We are incredibly excited to announce the launch of the Veterans Business Council. SWFL Inc. is pleased to join with regional partners and businesses to put a network in place that will enable Veterans and Veteran Owned-Businesses to have a greater impact on our regional economy, in addition to make contributions beyond Southwest Florida.

The Veterans Business Council, like SWFL Inc., is free to join and provides local veteran business owners with exclusive networking opportunities to create valuable relationships within the business community, monthly business resources to stay up to date on the latest business news and trends and unique opportunities not available to traditional businesses. The council is championed by an advisory board of fellow Southwest Florida veteran professionals including Stephanie Neurock, a District Representative from The Office of Congressman Byron Donalds, Glenn Sullivan from CareerSource of Southwest Florida, Mark Odell from America’s PTAC Florida, Troy Bolivar from Florida Gulf Coast University and Warren Baucom from the Lee County Economic Development Office.

After the initial Veterans Business Council meeting, Stephanie said it best. She said, “Our team has worked diligently behind the scenes to bring our veteran professionals and veteran owned businesses tangible resources and a permanent platform to network and engage like-minded veterans. We will continue to set out to make it easier for our veterans to succeed in our community. Thank you SWFL Inc. for the collaboration. We look forward to what’s in store.”

The Veterans Business Council meetings will be hosted monthly at The Hub at SWFL Inc. Here, you’ll make new connections, share insight with fellow veteran professionals and learn more about local organizations that can take your business to the next level.
