Last Friday, we welcomed a new age of leaders to Southwest Florida as they graduated from Leadership SWFL. This community immersion program is dedicated to providing business professionals with a deeper understanding of the community and creating a cohort of individuals ready to serve as effective leaders in the region.
Over eight months, Leadership SWFL fosters transformation among community champions with full day exclusive experiences. Hands-on opportunities offered through this immersive experience, challenges participants to delve into crucial components spanning Southwest Florida and explore diverse perspectives. As one door closes, another opens, and we’re now accepting early applications for our 2022 Class of Leadership SWFL. Nine, full-day class sessions and an overnight retreat for the program will run from May through December 2022. Sessions include special tours and in-depth discussions on the topics of crime and justice, economic development, education and the workforce, environment, government, healthcare, infrastructure, media and tourism.
Applications to be considered for early acceptance are due December 20, 2021. Early decision applications will be reviewed, and acceptance results will be given by January 5, 2022.
