The Wonder Gardens is leading with safety in mind for the Masque Soirée with our mask required, creativity encouraged one-of-a-kind event of the year! Masque Soirée is a play on “masquerade” and invites attendees to decorate and have fun with their masks for this event. An uplifting and playful idea that is as unique and fun as the Wonder Gardens! This event offers a beautiful outdoor venue, enabling social distancing. This is also the first time that an evening event at the Wonder Gardens, of this magnitude, is accessibly priced for families to enjoy the gardens at night.
Not able to attend in person? You can attend from the location of your choosing by joining us virtually – we promise you won’t miss a minute of wonder as it unfolds that evening!
While it was a difficult decision, our team decided to cancel this year’s Enchanted Gala, which was scheduled for February 18, 2021 because we care about your safety and wellbeing. We originally planned to offer a series of three smaller events, in order allow social distancing. Due to the elevated coronavirus risk in SWFL, the Wonder Gardens was forced to cancel our annual fundraiser.
Raffles supporting Wonder Gardens and more than 300 rescued and non-releasable animal-residents will go live with ticket sales on March 1, 2021. Do not miss out on your chance to win a trip to Villa Paraiso, Mexico where 4-6 couples can spend an unforgettable week in a beautiful oceanside estate. Exclusive in-your-own-backyard garden creations will also be a part of our online raffle.
There will be fabulous food and drinks available for purchase including, Roots to Fruits Organic farm and Vesuvius Wood Fired Pizza.

The 85-year-old Wonder Gardens is home to rescued and non-releasable birds and reptiles nestled among the sprawling banyan trees and plantings. While preserving the very best of the historic Wonder Gardens, the charitable organization is caring for more than 300 resident animals, upgrading wildlife enclosures, growing the botanical beauty of the property, adding education programs and events, and further engaging the community to enjoy this jewel in historic Downtown Bonita Springs.
A cultural icon, the Wonder Gardens stands as one of the few remaining cornerstones of Old Florida. Here, we tell a story there are few left to tell while educating our region on our important environment and wildlife.
